My name is Jess Francis.

I live in a darling little town in Maine. For my protection (and yours) I don’t think I will disclose my exact location. I live with my husband, Anthony, our daughter, Arabella, and my step-daughter, Natalie.

Aren’t they the cutest?! Gahh, I could just eat them right up…
Anyway, I digress, we also have two dogs and two cats; it’s a full on zoo at my house! To say our life is chaotic would be an understatement.

LifeHiccups was born after Arabella made a grand entrance into our lives, two months premature. While Anthony and I stayed at the NICU, 230 miles away from our home, for 5 weeks, I decided I wanted to create a blog that would document all of life’s little hiccups.

I love to write. I know it sounds so cliche but I’ve always preferred putting my thoughts down on paper (or the computer) opposed to speaking face-to-face. You could say I have issues. I also love traveling, spontaneity, reality tv, dancing with my daughters, and Chinese food. I hate early mornings, the never ending pile of laundry, judgmental assholes, and seafood (I know, I know…I’m from Maine, I should love it, BUT.I.DON’T)
